Larger tires generally have a larger contact patch, which can help the equipment distribute its weight more evenly. After reducing the pressure per unit area, the vehicle will be more stable when driving under heavy load. When outdoor operations require passing through sloping roads or uneven places, good tire configuration can reduce body shaking and improve stability during operations.
Bigger tires are not always better
Although large-size tires can bring better passability and stability, equipment design needs to consider the matching of the entire machine.
There needs to be a reasonable balance between tire size, vehicle weight, powertrain, axle load capacity and job requirements.
If the tire configuration does not match the overall machine design, not only will the advantages be lost, but equipment flexibility and cost of use may also be affected. When selecting a wheeled forklift, in addition to paying attention to parameters such as rated load and engine power, you also need to comprehensively consider tire specifications and overall machine configuration based on the actual working environment.
